Bank Holiday Book Signing
I've just returned from a quick trip to Amsterdam where I met up with my friend Anna at her shop Het Grote Avontuur and signed a few copies of my books. Regardless of the rain outside, Anna's shop is always a sunny space.
Even though it was a flying visit we managed to fit in a wander at Nordermarket and enjoy the compulsory apple pie - but of course!

Furry Friends
Bagpuss the shop cat is taking a holiday and has made two new friends, Monkey and Mouse. I'm not sure what they were up to last night but they all seem very content today.

Floral Fancy
I've just returned from a visit to my special friend Debi Treloar. This is one of my favourite pics that Debi took (on her iPhone, with natural light of course) at her local florist Scarlet & Violet. As ever, Debi is an inspiration - the combination of her eye and Vic's styling is just amazing. Keep an eye on Debi's blog 'Double Exposure' for similar treats!

Fabric Inspiration
The postman brought a lovely surprise today - our friend Tif has sent some special fabric. It was once a curtain and I think it will be a curtain again!
My favourite colours right now are these musty pinks, limes and vintage blues... I shall keep you posted...
